Cemita is my small business in handmade accessories I created in 2021. Inspired by the Korean style of handmade beads accessories, the main product of Cemita are mask straps and K-Pop style phone accessories. All the products can be customized based on the request, making each one special and one of a kind.
BRANDING
Cemita means fun in Korean, and it also represents my name. Cemita aims to create fun and playful pieces with good quality and reasonable prices, bringing happiness to everyone wearing them. The logo itself is a combination of circles to represent the rounded beads, and how it will make a different look when they’re combined together. Cemita uses soft pastel colors to represent its target audience; young girls.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Cemita used Instagram as the main channel of promotion. To show the originality of the products, Cemita used photography to show the real products. Cemita constantly showed the results of custom orders to attract new customers through Instagram posts and stories.
By constant promotion, Cemita successfully returned profit in the second month, doubled the profit in the next months, and increased Instagram followers by 50% over 3 months.
